  1. You wrote this so beautifully. I love the sound of crickets. You’re warm there, while I have been watching the snow fall as we dive toward December. It is so nice to be able to read your haiku and have a bit of both worlds. Thank you.

    • You win the award for best viewer again. Do you live in Denver? In 1979 I went to Buffalo, NYS. I bought a Greyhound bus pass for $99 and travelled for a month around the USA. I went to Denver primarily to visit its fantastic art gallery. My guide book gave me an old address for the Youth Hostel and I went there and found that gay boys had taken over the establishment. They kindly directed me to the new address of the Youth Hostel but I almost wanted to stay with them as it was dark and I thought they might be safer than those I would share a room with at the Youth Hostel. It is amusing in hindsight but I was anxious as a 21 year old.

      • This is fascinating. I was born in Denver and have lived in Colorado all of my life, except for a three month stint in Cocoa Beach, FL. in the late 1980’s. I am in Bailey now, up in the mountains. I love it up here. You are so sweet. I truly mean any comment I give. You deserve great comments for great work. Happy Thanksgiving to you.
