Time’s Ticking Memory

Time goes by,

memory walks along side,

its loneliness

finds its way to the sea

There is a sigh

from the past

blowing in the trees,

whispering of hunger

for what was

Day steps by day

increments of our lives

At the  end of our time

will memories coalesce

and surround our oblivion?
